Got a high vis high level brake light fitted and working, and my number plate hanger and light wired up...
Here're some pics...Can start putting the engine back together now, got a new rad and a few new bits and bobs to fit aswell

Shes nearly there! have you undersealed in the wheel arches?!
no not yet, but don't worry this car is gonna get pickled in anti rust stuff!!! lol

how did u fill this rust holes in on these to pictures mate
weld a plate of metal in ??
im not good at all the body work welding side , more the engines and that
ive got holes in exactly the same places as them to in the picture

He welded plates in yes, and then when it came to the painting ect. used filler to smooth them out. Clever guy.

Only 14 days to go now!
Things left to do....
+ Clean and paint engine and all those bits
+ Put engine back together and in the car
+ Fit new front brake set up and fit new wheels
+ Add chrome arch strip (stupid peice of ****, let's hope it works this time!)
+ Fit new bush to steering
+ Flatten and buff up the runs in the paint
+ Take lots of pics and take her out for a spin!!
Can all that be done in 14 days????

Well neither am i lol, my dad did all the welding.
He welded plates in yes, and then when it came to the painting ect. used filler to smooth them out. Clever guy.

gutted about the car, they have a liking for leading you on thinking everything is working.....then BANG nothing works! Hope you get it sorted

Did a lot of work on the engine today, cleaned it all down and got rid of the rust, cleaned up the pistons and the surface, painted all the other bits and bobs on the engine and got the cooper head back together

Will paint anti rust stuff on the block tomorrow and then eventually paint the block and get things sorted!
