lol I must admit the pictures are a bit deceiving. Its not bad for the age really, just has a few little dinks and cracks in the paint. There is a bit of rust bubbling up under one the side window's. It needs some welding around the OS door hinge area, because the door drops when you open it. Also needs some work on the inside of the sill as seen on the ebay description.

Still haven't got the thing started, timing is ok, and in correct firing order, compression isn't bad..
Its far too cold to be working on Minis though!

Finally got the thing started..!
The oil pressure gauge wasn't connected properly though, and it *Drunk or yellow human water* out oil all behind the dash.
The engine gives off loads of smoke. It doesn't clear, so is likely to be oil rings.

Took the head off about two weeks ago and it turns out engine is shagged... sideways movement in the pistions, scored bores etc...
So I want a TURBO now :grin: When I get some money sorted anyway.
