The plan is to build the car nice and tame and environmentally friendly first of all. Just to keep the dvla happy.
Its going to have two engines. The first one being a standard hayabusa to go through the sva test and generally drive the car until I am used to it.
The other will be an all out, almost suicidal turbo engine maybe with Nos and water inj. Cant give any bhp figures till its done but I would be disappointed if its below 450bhp and 300 lb f torque. The nos with some careful engine mapping should take care
of any lag.
The main objective at the moment is to get the thing built and sva,d and registered. (no mot for three years )
Meanwhile on the build, I had a disaster today, I ran out of black rivets for the under side of the floor and could only get silver ones. So I am going to have to paint them black (not that any ones going to see underneath) but 'I know they don't match.
And them air riveters are great
The floor is all done and looks fab
Also tried the cover on for size.
As for cost I have no idea until its finished or for sale.

I would be amazed if there is even the slightest flex in that floor!!! Given the thickness of Carbon and the number of rivets!!!

The huge arches make the brakes look small.

The body shell just bolts on top. It can be cut into three sections or left as one like a big radio controlled car.

No more picks of the suspension, just pics of the current updates on the build. Stay tuned.

Plumbing. Got my dad on his lathe to make some hose joiners. There is going to be a couple of temperature senders front and back of the cooling system just for data logging. And I don't know if the pipes are staying like the pic or being rerouted.
Panels lined up and fixed. Steering rack in. Collapsible column figured out.
Its quite awkward to drill some of the holes. I managed to get myself stuck in the triangle hole on the above pic.
Next job rear panel/bulkhead.

Still popping the rivets but its getting one step closer. A full days work on this project involves a lot of thought, you don't want to put a panel in and later find yourself removing all them rivets because you missed some thing. So its 4 hrs thought and 4 hrs practical.
Do you have a set of clecos for testing panel fit??
They're inexpensive, and can be very helpful.....

Also, are the uprights made out of aluminum??
