im sure ts illegal to show material of this nature before 10pm although 6am for a post. commitment. I love this project!

Yes commitment, I often wake up early the next morning after working on the Monte, usually to search the interweb for a never ending parts list.

The fuel system might look a little OTT for a standard busa, but I only want to build it once. It should be up for the job on the turbo engine.

Got one of these up front as a feeder pump.

Posted Image

This feeds the swirl pot at the rear of the car (bracket being made tomorrow)

Posted Image

Swirl pot feeds the main pump (pictured earlier) then up to an in-line filter.

Posted Image

Then its up to the injector rail via jic -08 AN hose and fittings. I had to make some adapters to accept two types of injectors.
Standard busa on the right I think flow well under 200cc and the larger RC 750cc on the left.

After the fuel rail its off to the fuel pressure regulator, More on this later.

Cheers Les

Concentrated on the steering yesterday. Ford escort mk5 cabriolet switches with no rear wipe or horn. The swtches need to be mounted on a 45mm tube, The metal supermarket did not have any so I made my own. The pics will explain the rest.

Quite happy how it turned out, self canceling indicators and horn track.
Its nearly ready for a battery.

I will try and make the pictures smaller next time.

New camshaft arrived from USA yesterday for the dual intake mod. I pressed the APE adjustable sprockets on and intend to put a small spot of weld on them also.

Plumbing fuel lines all day yesterday and most of next week doing brake pipes.

Koss - Jeez you really do have serious builders block, no updates since Nov '08.

Well here is a free bump to get it back in the lime light.

Love followingyour project,
just waiting to collect my GRP Sprint from Chris during the week
I will be using the standard 209 Busa for the fist year and then
Break down the Engine for a Turbo Conversion
Could you give me a rough idea of your Engine work to give me
some idea as to what to expect.

Regards bendion58
