when it got RR'ed it made 81.2 BHP at the wheels. cant remember the more interesting torque figure tho

tonight iv been prepping the cage for adding the crossbrace which some loon had cut away. so started off by cutting the rear bin out, strangly still had the off side one. Thats now gone(still to be neatened tho), after that the remainder of the old cross brace was chopped, took along time of careful work to make sure i didnt damage the cage in any way...also CDS being bloody tough and that + the welds...yay was fun...i got spark burn on my arms hands face lip and hair! BONUS!!!, thats the hard bit done tho
tomorrow iv gotta get the new length of CDS cut it down to size then using the state of the art techneique....angle grinder....notch the tube ready for welding in place

hmm...still fair bit to do to the car before firday...

still gotta spanner check the car :teehee: can be done last min as its last thing i should be doing
clutch release bearing is making a wiring noise when clutch is depressed.
iv got a knocking noise which ill try find before but its nothing bad i believe
still gotta change bottom arms and get tracking
sort oil breather system, just extend the pipe into my sketchy catch tank
buy and apply name stickers to the 1/4 windows
if i get time weld in plate under hydraulic HB (not neccesary, i believe it will hold for 1 event)

oh and its already cleaned up ready for scruteneering, they like clean cars!!!

>_< the CDS tube i had isnt right diameter and would have over hung the end, so now i have to go metal supermarket today, prep the tube and then take car to southam to be welded
aaaaaalso.....get the names for the side of the car, prep the CDS for welding, go to southam get it welded. get tyres and get fitted. buy some stuff from halfords. invesitgate knocking noise and spanner check sus' components. check clutch release bearing then spanner check, re-fig the oil breather system

meeeeh!!!

got the wrong idea about the diagonal, thought it could go from hoop to back section, but has to stay on the same hoop...problem however....seats are in the way, and no idea how to solve it...so now its at southam and there gona try re-jig the seats particualy passanger seat...urrrgh

and went to get tyres from midland wheels....by time i got there they were closed, i was talking to colin too long at southam

got window name stickers ordered tho....they were gona deliver but havnt as yet, so i guess they wont be here today...not that it matters i dont have the car home
