Thats the cutest photograph ever!!

Ah sorry to hear your not feeling well. I started getting migraines quite frequently in year 10 and 11. I would first of all get blurry vision then a REALLY bad headache where it feels like your head is in a vice. Then about an hour into this headache I would be violently sick, and keep being sick until I couldnt any more. Nice.

The first time I got a migraine was in Maths, when my vision went, my maths teacher, who really didnt like me, wouldnt believe me that I couldnt see out of my eye :-. Then in french I had to leave to be sick yummmm

No ordinary tablets that you can buy helped me, so I went to the doctors and they referred me onto a specialist (proceedure checks incase it was anything more serious that migraines). They said that due to my hormones I was getting these migraines. One minute Id be fine, then a few hours later be really ill. The specialist prescribed me some tablets, which taste MINGING. They are tiny, but you are not meant to swallow them just keep them on your tongue. Iwas told to take these once I felt that a migraine was coming on. This tend to keep my headache slightly, it eased it a LOT, I would still feel sick but it would prevent me from being sick. I would then still ache like mad, like down the back of my neck and the next day i ached too and would have a slight headache next day.

The tablets he prescribed to me were Zomigoro 2.5mg.

Hope that helps

Being on the computer probably isnt helping either. I found it best to get in a dark quiet room!

Get well soon

Raz xXx

Forgot to add..... and although this is a family forum, I'll say it anyway! :P

If you feel up to it, and more to the point, if Mrs Bungle is in the mood, an orgasm is a well known 'cure' for migraine...... The rush of Endorphins to the brain has a similar effect as some migraine medications on the blood vessels around the brain! Worth a try eh?! I must admit this doesn't help me sometimes.... in fact it has been known to make them worse, but you do get to the stage where you'll give anything a go :-

I suffer with them as well, started after I was thrown out the back window of a MK1 caviller (mate wrapped it round a tree).

Ended up in hospital for 3 days, not long after that I had my first migraine; ended up in hospital having a CT scan. Didn’t find anything LOL

I’ve had them now for about 16 years now and the doc has gave me lots of pills to help with it, imagran, panamax (made me throw up blood), medocodene and ibuprofen.

I find a cold ice pack, painkillers and a dark room helps, that’s if I haven’t got my head down the toilet throwing up.

I've only ever had one mild migraine...which was cheese induced :( I'd say don't laugh, but even with the migraine I laughed at it and then regretted laughing as it hurt too much :-

Anywho, Neil gets them every now and then (only sometimes cheese induced!) so I went to the pharmacist to see what they recommended. The guy sold me Migraleve and it actually worked really well for Neil and myself. So could be an option :P

Women have them too? :P

Aaaanyway, I've asked my mum and she says "When are you going to come and take your c**p that's in the attic?"

Then she said "Yep, dark room, water, and sleep if possible." :-

Its on the BBC news pages

Scientists have discovered differences in the sensory areas of the brains of people who develop migraines.
They found a part of the cortex is thicker than in people who are free from the debilitating headaches.

What is not clear is whether the difference causes, or is the result of migraine attacks.

No. I also suggested smoking pot but of course I couldn't possibly help with that either. Unless Bungle likes to send me an sae. :-
