Thats horrible, id be asking for a new valance at their cost, that works horrible, doesnt look like they even patched it, looks like they just filled it with filler.

Also make sure they use flexiable sealer on the joins so that it doesnt crack again, id be going mad at the place that did that.... saying that i did with the state of mine and they just made it worse :( Cant win at times.

they put a metal plate in, i saw the one that they made up and when it was welded in - so I know its metal thats under there. Which is a bonus :(

Got bored of looking at the mini today... so went to make some things look better :dozing:

Painted up the radiator :)

Thass better :(

My timing cover gasket and crank seal are arriving tomorrow - so hopefully he'll be back on the road soon! :)

You aint being picky at all Bean, you paid to have it fixed, fair enough they fixed it, but not properly, so nopeys your not being picky! Id be exactly the same! :( If you pay for work to be done, you want it doing properly. :) Take him back as many times as you need to until hes to the standard you want him at.....dont settle for cracks showing up after a few days.

Cheers Sazal... and everyone for the re-assurance :)

I'm not around tomorrow, so I can't go see them then, but I'll be able to go up on Wednesday and show them exactly whats wrong...

And then hopefully, afterwards, get him up and running again! :(

I went there because I'd seen their work previously and it's been absolutely top!! :)

They've just done an old ferrari and they've got an amazing triumph stag there!

I dunno whats gone on with mine :(

But I rekon I'll just get them to re-do the whole thing, because there's so much that's gone wrong with it that i don't want to see patches all over the place :(

He looks worse now than when he went in :dozing:

I hope so! :)

I've just given his interior a clean up, the steering wheel has been polished with some scuff coverer stuff and the centre binnacle has been blacked up... tis looking nice and sparkly now :(

Doesn't look too bad now, considering its missing some vital pieces, like a dash and door cards :(
