Oh ok, ;D I didn't know whether he/you were joking or not :D I don't think I've ever seen 9am on a Sunday, let alone 4am! (apart from when I've been out on saturday night)

Anyway I shall stop spamming your project thread :techsupport:

Found a couple of photos when I changed the brakes:

I promise you - the hammer was only there because I managed to wedge a nut in the socket I needed !

And..

I'm not a happy bunny! ;D

Reggie hasn't moved now for 10 days. :D

The day that I parked him, was the day that I went up to the bodyshop to show them the crack in the paint. After that, he's not moved.

However - He's still managed to crack in another 2 places. I know that they weren't there before, as I checked before taking him up to the body shop. He's got another crack on the other side, in exactly the same place - but water has got in there and has started to turn tiny bits orange again - and there's another crack on the scuttle-wing seam on the passenger side!

:D

Exactly, Sazal. It doesn't matter whether you move Reggie or not, Bean - there'll be moisture which will swell the filler in the seam, creating more cracks.

It'll be OK when he gets back from the bodyshop though ;D

It's just a difference as to whether they have to just do that one seam, but now, i think they might have to re-do the whole thing, because its nearly all of the seams and because I've just looked at the front valance and... er.... ;D

Well.. its not exactly smooth :D

How 'not exactly smooth' is it? Are there runs in the paint, or is it dents?

Where they welded a plate in, and fillered it over - they've not smoothed it off, so there's a massive lump!!

And also, slightly unpainted on the other side ;D Ergh :D

I paid £350 initially... and all was good for 4 days!!

Then it cracked and they said that if i just take it back in, they'd sort it out...

I'm pretty sure that there will be no problem when I take it back up to them to get it sorted... because they're such brilliant guys up there ;D

Just kinda annoyed that its gonna have to be looked at again ...

I'm certainly not paying anymore! :D

To be fair to the bodyshop guys it isn't easy to fettle existing panel joints - but they did take the job on. The most rust proof Mini I ever had I bought off a Rolls Royce mechanic, he brazed most of the wing joints. Rolls Royce's used to have all of theirs leaded.

OK - Looks pretty normal from the front, when you're looking at it normally...

No, I don't think you're being picky, either. I'd kick off if they handed Jack back in that state! :(
