35 when driving is a bit low but nothing to really worry about... could be a warn piston and spring on the relief valve. One way to possibly solve it is to check the condition of that and possibly replace it if that is the cause of the pressure drop.

Had a phonecall from the bodyshop today!!

They wanted me to take Reggie up to them!

Unfortunately, Reggie went with my Dad to work, this morning! 25 minutes away!



So... I'm dropping him up at the bodyshop tomorrow morning! Whoooop!


Just a small update tho...

When Dad was driving him back tonight, one of the chrome wiper arms snapped off!

Dad went back to get it, but it is now in loads of little pieces, because it had been driven over!

The hire car needs a new clutch

They said that I could drop the car off today and they would have him done by tomorrow! But I really didn't want them to rush him!


So, I've said I'll take him in on Monday morning... That way, he can come to Malvern, too!

Wasn't looking overly happy this morning...





But this afternoon, I gave him a rather MASSIVE clean!





Have taken the arches off, to change the screws (they've gone rusty) - However, the screws that I 'aquired' () weren't big enough!

So I took the opportunity to get rid of all the grime and gunk underneath, and get him nice and sparkly for Malvern on sunday!



So, this is how he looks now!




Tomorrows jobs:

See if I can find the wipers off my other mini, as a temporary fix!
Re-Fit Arches and chrome strip
Find self-tapping screws to fit front grille properly!
Polish!

God no... i LOVE his arches!

Tucked him in the barn for the night! Cleaned up the arches and chrome strip, ready to put back on in the morning!

Then polish and sorting out the few bits and bobs, and he'll be good to go on sunday!

Oh - And Reggie was supposed to be in the bodyshop this morning!!

So, we got up early to take him in.... and I get a phonecall


The hire car wasn't fixed (Even though it had gone from there and re-appeared last night! ) ...


So, no hire car - no mini-fixing. As I live in the middle of nowhere, its an absolute pain, not being about to get into town!!

The hire car is going to be fixed 'as and when' their garage can fit it in!!


Meaning - they've no idea when they'll fit Reggie in >

And it'll be after the Easter holidays! >


Not happy about it...
