i thought someone in Australia was the first to do the conversion succesfully (although that may be a person rather than company).

Yeah theres a vid on youtube of that engine - On the video they claim it to be the first of its kind

i think what simon meant is that morspeed was the first company to offer the conversion. all the ones before were DIY home made jobbies, i think it was a french chap who did it first.

id agree stay away from morspeed, they are rubbish, i had some con rods done and i put alot of work into them they arrived with arp bolts as they said but no radius under the head if i had tightened them up they would have split, and the lightening they did was pants nothing was done evenly at all, i could have done a better job in my sleep if i had acces to a lathe.
steer clear i hope peoplle read this and go elsewhere, they only messed things up for themselves.

bigmotherwhale, think thats a little out of order. Alot of people have had good experiences with morspeed and im one of them. I dont think Morspeed was prepared for how things took off for them in 2007 and they have hired/trained more people to try and get their work out quicker and to a good quality for 2008.

A pop up when you enter there site comes up:

SORRY!

Morspeed appologise for the long delays some people have experienced over 2007, this was an error entirely on our behalf as we did not expect the company to grow at such a fast rate in which it has over the last 4 years.

We have now enroled more staff and trained exsisting staff further allowing us to reach target times more realistic, this has proven succesfull over the period September 2007 - December 2007 and will continue through 2008 and further.

Morspeed respect the forums for there honesty and have an active part in supplying them with useful information when possible, but we must point out that the people who have had delays in receiving there products are very few and are far out numbered by the positives otherwise we would not still be in business! unfortunately its rare for these positives to ever make it for all to see.
