just been visiting my gran, and my uncle pulls up and asks me to drop him off at the station to go out for a drink. He refused to move his car to let my mini out saying he would miss his train and made me drop him off in his renault kangoo. It was HORRIBLE to drive. whoever converted this to a car should be shot. the steering was lifeless, the transmission was notchy and tedious and it had about as much acceleration as an electric wheelchair. It is the worst car i have driven because it is in good condition and reasonably new and therefore should be a whole lot better to drive by modern day standards.
What is the worst modern car you have ever driven? (no slagging off oldies, they deserve some sort of respect)
I'll add another, CITYROVER so bad i sruggled to sell it on even though it was new.

My nephews old style Vauxhall Corsa, it had a horrible notchy gearchange, depressingly heavy steering and it went around corners like a disabled shopping trolley.
I was glad to get out of that heap of junk and to think he could have instead invested the money in his mothers slightly tatty 1992 Mini British Open Classic LE, but no he preferred to go down the CHAV road, because he is a CHAV.

Marina estate I think it had a chassis and a body that were connected via a single spring in the centre. The body roll was unbelievable it use to get scrape marks on the door handles it was that bad (all right I exaggerated there)

A bog standard Mitsubishi Carisma....was a fleet car too -UGhhh! That car's name was a bit of a misnoma - it had NO carisma what-so-ever!
The car was so bad and boring to drive, I felt like aiming at the nearest tree - it was quicker to end the horrible ride that way, than pulling over and getting out! I don't think it was the best example though, I'm sure some parts were left out at it's last service - like the linkage between the gear stick and the gear box.......and I'm sure the steering wheel could be legally claimed to NOT be connected to the front wheels....BLEUGH!

I drove my friends 99 escort van a few times, the clutch was so loose it kept unhooking its self in the engine bay, the gas pedal only gave gas once it passed half of its travel, the traction was off so you had to hold the steering wheel 3/4 of a turn, it felt like I was in a bounch castle, you cant see anything apart from your front wing mirrors and my friend thought he was colin mcrae slamming the same wheel into the same curb 3 times before semi-writing it off. (wishbone, anti roll bar and the engine cradel had snaped in half) Then a 12" wooden fence ripped off his radiator while reversing over it.
Was glad to see the end of that vechical!

Worst for driving, the 90's bubble nissan Micra. Pedals are just all wrong. Acclerator pedal had the feel of the clutch and vice versa.
Worst for handling, Vauxhall Corsa. Whoever designed the suspension must have only had a straight road to test it on. They don't like corners.
