Ford Escort estate (you know, the OLD boxy shaped ones) 1.9 diesel

drove it from Devon to Norfolk - with the tracking being so far off, you had to force the wheel to stay central, with a LOT of grunt, and whenever the engine got warm, it would cut out whenever it liked for a few moments....top speed was 75mph....down a hill

every time you put your foot on the clutch, it would stall ;D

Due to a drink-drive accident that I was involved in (in was in my Honda Civic Sport, fortunately!), I've been given the car which is OFFICIALLY the worst in the world.

Frankly, I didn't think that Mitsubishi could make something as bad as the Colt. I swear to god, the entire of the car is made out of plastic as though it was an Airfix kit! The steering is far too light, the engine makes a horrible noise when accelerating and the brakes are of the digital variety (ON OFF ON OFF...). The boot is non existant, and for an alleged supermini it's sodding huge!

Grrr, I want my Civic back! ;D

Come to think of it the hire car in Florida this year I found almost undriveable. But I can't remember what it was (does it matter? No.) I just didn't feel in control of anything -- steering, roadholding, throttle, brakes, and I couldn't see properly fore or aft. Or maybe I just got worn down by 365 radio stations of country music & soft rock.

We had a hire car in Spain a few years ago, it was a very old style punto and it was C**p. I drove it a bit and it struggled to get up the smallest hill!!! x

My mate says the worst car he has ever driven was a Toyota Yaris.

Admittedly he normally drives a 3.0L twin turbo supra but it had to go in the garage so Toyota gave him a Yaris to drive in the meantime doh!! :o

Hes says that his next car is going to be a porsche so that when they give him a courtesy car all they can give him is another porsche!!! :o

I have driven very few cars - a 1980's Fiesta for a driving lesson in a car park, my mate's Mini when I was 16, my 6 Minis, oh and the one car I nominate as being the worst car I have ever driven - a 1990's Ford Fiesta. It was a courtesy car. I refused the Ka(k) they offered as it'd ruin the little street cred that I had !!!!! The Fiesta was vile with loads of plastic and it had nasty cloth seats. It made me feel sick when I drove it and I used to lose it in carparks as it looked like everything else......the bloody thing was silver !!!!!

The gearboxes in Xsara picasos are very nasty

Ford Focus feel to unstable when cornering

'56 plate 306 5 second delay between steering wheel and road wheels

Transit connect windscreen makes you think your in a fish tank

Mk2 Suzuki swift interior rattles and there made from old kit-kat wrappers

Maybe i'm just fussy :teehee:

Right where do i start, first of all has to be Frontera estate 2.5td it pulls like a bag of w**k and you turn the steering wheel and 5 mins later it turns the road wheels.
My works Sprinter van it makes a whining noise from the diff if you go over 30mph, its a piece of c**p nothing works on it and the handbrake doesnt hold on the slightest of inclines
My mates old Mk1 polo you couldnt find the gears properly in it and you just hoped you got a gear which you could move the car in,
Pug 605 as it handle rubbish in rain or snow but it was nippy got it upto 125 and still wanted to go.
My dads old ERF E12 (i know it aint a car but hey) wasnt old enough to drive it on road but did around an industrial estate and was sooo hard to get in gears had to give it sum revs was rubbish at turing and leaned over on bends farrrrrr too much

It has to be the new nissan micra, i had one as a courtesy car, six months old and 3000 miles on the clock it was uncomfortable beyond belife and fuel economy was atrocious averaging only 35pg and that without thrashing it!

Steering too light, seats naff NO SMOKING sign hopeless complete waste of Nissans efforts.

OOPS sorry about the spelling just got in form nights and doing 130 down the high street!!!!!

citroen saxo 1.1. what a load of poo! clutch pedal that is mean't for people with size 3 feet. steering stupidly heavy, handbrake that never feels on. suspension that is so soft you feel like you going to fall over on every bend. gear change that feels like your sturing a bowl of soup.

Ive only driven my mini and my learner car, which was a 1 year old peugeot 206. It was horrible! The gear box was really clunky and the pedals were really floppy and it felt like you had no control over it! My mini is alot better to drive! :teehee:
