Another vote for 1.3 Maestro, didn't think it was that lacking on power but the steering was verging on dangerous.

I've only driven a few cars and generally not disliked them (95 Punto, 91 Clio, 98 Pug 306, 04 Fiesta, 86 Mini) but I did once test-drive a 52 Astra (I know, I'm sorry!) and it's SO not designed for small people! In order to reach the pedals I ended up way too close to the steering wheel, my knees hit the column when I lifted off the pedals and the gear stick was too far back. Shame because it was actually a nice drive, apart from the fact I am apparently too small to drive one!

As of last week I can drive any car on my Mini's insurance (haha, insure a 998 Mini and I can drive a Ferrari if the owner lets me! I'm 22!) so I hope to be driving a few more soon ;D hehe

only 3rd party cover

so if you crash the Ferrari you still have to pay its owner for the damage

Maxi 1.5.
And
my dad's almost unsteerable rear-engine VW Variant LE hatchback. Fortunately it was written off when a runaway milk-float charged through the garden gate and knocked the VW into the porch.

Not driven a vast amount of cars but -
isuzu trooper - changing gear was like stirring a bowl of porridge - pot luck if you got the right gear, and it wandered all over the road, but you could turn the steering wheel loads before it actually did anything to the road wheels.
dads T5 volvo - automatic, so thoroughly evil, even if it is fast. And the bonnets that long it feels like the QE2.

A suzuki SJ410 LWB - fortunately i only had to drive it on the mot ramp, it consequently failed on seriously excessive play in the steering box- there was 3 inches of travel on the steering wheel before the road wheels even turned, and rust so bad that the brake pedal collapsed through the bulkhead.

My nephews old style Vauxhall Corsa, it had a horrible notchy gearchange, depressingly heavy steering and it went around corners like a disabled shopping trolley.

I completely agree!! Haha!! Im driving an old style corsa at the moment!! Going round corners is just awful!!! Its on 2 wheels! lol!!

Its quite nippy though, but as you say, the gears are horrible!
Cant wait to sell it!

Or a Citroen xara picasso....felt like a BUS!! eugh!

I forgot to mention my dads fiat fiorino 1.7 diesel, so awful, a fiat uno with no aerodynamics. It felt like you were physically pedalling the thing trying to get it to accelerate not to mention it has a stupid splash guard which rusts and cuts through the fan belt.
