gee, Im over sanding, there are so many little nooks and crannies on these bloody things! anyway I better get back out there now the weather has cooled down a bit, sanding in 35 degree heat isnt the nicest thing!

i have been wet sanding a camper van in 5 degrees

at least the camper is nice and flat! I should have deseamed the car when I had the chance, It would have made the sanding easier! next on the job list is to smooth the engine bay and chase up some better doors, the drivers side is pretty much beyond repair, the tinworm got stuck into it big time. after that it will be time to make some extractors and an intake manifold for it

well, its all painted up now, except the doors. I will post up the piccies tommorow, I am pretty happy with how it came up

haha i like the that here when we're working on out minis we wear wooly socks and big boots, and over with you it's flip flops :)

Funny you should say that Bungle, It looks like I might be getting a mini of my own as a daily driver (they all start out that way!) as I am moving to the big smoke (Melbourne) in about 20 min.
here are a couple of quick piccies, the car is covered in dust but you will get the idea

That is a lovely shade of orange and it suits the weather over there so perfectly.

just to clear a few things up...
he really is helping to do this car up for his sister...because thats me

I am hoping that my sister will lose interest in it after a while then I can have it and make some big changes engine wise :D


and i am not planning on getting sick of it any time soon!

bugger, she is on to me!

Im not getting much done on the mini at the moment, I am living about 2 hours away from it now that I have got my new job working on much bigger vehicles!
