I wouldn't know where to start with doing it anyway! Scared of ruining the sub...

Got my 4ohmers today, first impressions pretty decent, while their not the prettiest of subs the look very well ut together. Hooked up to my home sound system they sound really good, after messing with the equalizer to get a purer bass signal they really bounce! The excursion on these little gems is really something! It can take the abuse all day long by the looks of it aswell.

well you will get yours installed before me as im in the process of restoring mine so the interior stuff is last on the long long list of jobs to do,, i found the same with mine they really do bounce well for such a small speaker. what are you doing with yours,, parcel shelf,, box enclosure, under seats or rear bins?

Danny - The boot is SO not sealed it's not funny. Ignoring all the holes in the floor (not the rust ones!) the sides of the rear seat have at least a 1 inch hole into the cabin which would need to be sealed.
Although they run IB they sound pants without running them at high RMS when the engine is running. At least, they do on mine with a Play Mini Twin DTM (on an SPi Cooper)

What would shipping be?
They dont reply on messages sent with ebay, and they are more expensive at their webpage
Would be most appreciated

Email Peter direct from the website - I know he can do you a decent deal on the price and will be able to quote for shipping too. He's the same guy that runs the eBay website. He normally responds from the website within 24 hours.

Hum, wonder if they are that good, £40 each and another £50 for shipping. total £130 for a pair...
still cheaper than the 6.5" I was going to buy(SQ6 from Italian TEC) but...
Think I'll wait a bit longer 'till someone more have them up and running in a mini

I'm shelving them, the boot will hopefully make an excellent enclosure, given that it should be totally sealed. These things are capable of infinite baffle anyway though, so its not a big issue really. Gonna have to figure out how to make my numberplate stop vibrating though! In the garage with the boot up and music going it rattles lol
i got mine today (YAY!), havent wired them up yet, but they do look really nicely made. the idea was to use these in place of the standard parcel shelf speakers, as i have components up front, but how the hell are they going to drop in the rear shelf? (V reg Mpi) as the magnets just about squeeze into the hole. i dont want to trim the metal if i can help it...
the other place is under the rear seat, but theyre more likely to get damaged there, and i'll need to make up another speaker board
