ive been dying to get a pic of both my minis side by side and after doing the cylinder head on rowan i decided to pull him out













he just needs a tinker with fueling, arches on, winscreen jets and wipers on, brakes all round and some other things what i cant remember and itl be ready for the road again

She lives again. Went round today and set the mixture etc with TukTuk, but unfortunately, after topping up the dash pot oil, she would fire and rev, but then die straight away. I suspected problems with the jet/float on the carb, so we went and stripped another carb to try.

After stripping the carb, new gaskets, putting the correct needle in and setting the idle/mixture, we went for a quick blast up the street. Boy is that DTM noisey!

Tom will be able to do that for you, hes learnt how to do loads of things over the past few months

had some spare time the other day so i painted the front subframe



not that the pics show it very well

and its also had its first bath











over the weekend i need to get an interior handle kit and a winscreen wiper kit.

yup. thats it fitted, painted

yehh painted it in the end... we hummed and harred about it but looking closely we found some cracks and general unsightlies about it still a bargain like, and its very light so removing the bonnet is easy work

not alot to be honest ! ive just fitted my horn, i need to fit the chrome filler strip to the windscreen seal, seam strips up the side of the body need putting on then just checking over the ball joints and stuff

jordie reckons itl b back on the road within about 3 weeks !
