Couple of questions about the front flip
+ can I have some pictures of how you've hinged the front.
+ where the front wings meet the a-panels, have you added some sort of cushioning, does it rub?
+ and finally! the wiring for headlights & indicators, how has that been done?
Cheers, Luke.

il get you pictures tonight luke, but its basically 2 garden gate hinges from homebase cut down

doesnt seem to rub buddy, its clamps together and pulls the lips together. one day il get the seam strips on
wiring wise, im an electrician so i stripped all the original connectors at work, cleaned them up and wired them again with extended wires wrapped in heatshrink. bullet connectors incase the front needs to come off, but at some point il wire it to a single pop off connector

when i get home il take a few piccys for you about the above and try explain it a lil better

ive got you a pic of the brackets used to 'flip' the front but they arent very good

beneath the bolt, you can see a weld ? that weld is holding the short part of the gate hinge to the front panel. the long bit after the joint is the bit the bolt goes through and holds it to the subframe

hinges were just like these at the top http://www.fencing-a...357_general.jpg
then to hold the wings in we used these little latches

and same again between the wings and a panels

quick lash of paint and a few fancy bits and you end up with this

if you want a little guide of how the front was all marked out and lined up and what stages things were done at, just let me know and il write one up

I will definitely ask for a guide from you in the near future, I need to get my sound system sorted first and then buy a welder

What plan of action have you got for the arches?
