Only been a few days since my last update and already its dropped to page 3 on the projects!!

Anyway.. last couple of days i have moved my mini to the front of our unit.. out of the wet. :ph34r:

Fitted both radius arms, fixed up some brake backplates, ready for the rear hubs.. all the hubs had missing wheel studs!?! God knows what happened to them. But ordered some new longer ones anyway. Got rear wheel bearing kits and fitted them into the hubs.

Still waiting on my Fitting kit for my roll cage.... No one at Mini Sport wants to talk to me anymore

Ordered some Tar-Ox Vented Disc's, got fed up with waiting on Mini Sport AGAIN and cancelled my order. :w00t:

And also bought some Kad 4 pots.. credit card is melted in my wallet. :blink:

Last night i dropped my engine in.. starts to feel like im getting somewhere.

[attachment=15953:attachment]

not the cleanest of engines, but 86bhp @ the wheels i'm not complaining.

Piccy of the ports..

Stage 3 MED Head

and my Gold Roller Tip Rockers

Next stage is to get the car ready for painting.

good work mate looks like its all starting to come together, those doors look awsome. are you using perspex sliding windows with those?

the engines looking great, i still remember that as the first one i heared with a S/C gearbox, and actually new what it was. it sounds super sweet!

cool are the just the standard mk1 sliders, because i really want to do this to my car but will be using standard doors now.

yeah it sure sounds sweet, it looks the nuts too, i take it your not going to be fitting your sub again with that tank! ( dont want to look like i am copying you but i think i am going to get an ally fuel cell made up now too!)

Well, the windows are mk3 shaped.. but in the mk1 style.. if that makes sense. i think the mk3 door frames are a different shape to mk1's!

I can't stop u from gettin a ally tank, it centres the weigh in the boot.. I like them too.. also like the fact someone has the same taste as me!

yeah i think your right about the shape, i will have a look at some at l2b this weekend to see how they work!

the weight distribution was what made me decide to get one! i will just keep my(carbon if i get it!) boot shut when your showing yours off!

Fitted the brakes now.. had to change the drive flanges to metro ones as the mini offset put the disc oo close to the hub. All changed over and nothing rubs..

[attachment=16000:attachment]

[attachment=16001:attachment]

didn't take too long to work it all out.

They look really good but photos don't do them justice
