ive been in the garage tonight and manage to cut cut the wing off and ahve a better look at things need to do a bit of welding around the air vent but nothing to bad .also im going to pick front subby up off rozzer so i can ust the front hubs cheers tel.and im still on the hunt for a rear sub frame ill have a look on ebay pics of the wing off to follow

I always wondered why when i washed the car i would get banana loads off water in the passengers side footwell!! looks like it must have been finding its way through that hole!!!!

Eh?? That's the drivers side.

There's probably more of the same at the other side.

Should be a relativly easy repair though.

Take you're door of so that you can clamp the repair panels more easily.

hi the rust is much worse than the pics shown i now have to replace the a post and flitch panel and door step but it hasnt cost much for the panels so all is well and once this is done ill start work on the rust at the back ie heel board etc ill put some pics up soon

right been to mini spares today and picked up my new panels so ill be gettin them welded in nxt weekend and hopfully get the front back toghether and then start on the rear of the car pics to follow

its starting to take shape now dan! glad i could help out with the old subframe parts. was bin fodder otherwise! i need a favour tho! i need a measurement where the 2 holes are on either side for the gearbox mounts. they are different on the spi's. that is if you havnt already tossed the old frame out!
