just a little update and a big thanks to mini-kel for his time and welding skills.

so i went to minispares and pick up some of the panels i needed to reair the a post and to my surprise the cost wasnt to bad
to them home and the panels fitted very well

kel came round in the week to do the work once we put the car up on some more pallets and had a quick tidy the work started

we cut out the remaining bits off rust and door step lined up the panel and cut it to size them welded th parts in also put the stiferning panel on and the door fits nice

also been out today tidyed some of the welds and put some filler on

then i started to sort the boot out as this has some rust issues aswell hes some pics

The black clubby has slipped down the list a little. I've been kind of pre-ocupied with a MetroVan (Project Left Overs \|/ ), but that goes in for it's test tomorrow morning after extensive repairs to the shell. If it passes, then we just need to swap the engine for a 1275, fit a good exhaust and the Turbo body kit.

Then I'm going to patch up the blue clubby and get that on the road for 2009.

Then it's back to the black one. Plans have changed a little for that one. I have a parcel winging it's way from New Zealand :D with something a little special for under the bonnet.

I repaired the same bit on my black clubby. Have a look at my project thread if you want an idea of what's involved. It's a fair amound of work, but worth it to get it really solid again.
