I've always thought that you shoyuld try and stick with the original colour for the car, but that green does look bloody good. :D

hi all been out in the garage tonight ive been cleaning the engine ready to paint but it has to go off for a rebore first. also been trying to rebuild my other front hub which have been powder coated but it looks like ill have to haver these blasted again because
its making things so hard to do as the guy powdered every thing even where the wheel bearing goes. so ill strip the other one of its new ball joints and send them back fpr blasting and then ill just paint them me thinks. also had the same probs with my tie rods as he coated all the threads but they wasnt as hard to clean quick whirl on a wire brush should do the trick.aprt from that things are going well .

also found the drivers wing had bubble up some more but on closer inspection i found this

It looks like there's some filler in the scuttle too. To be on the safe side, I'd take a flap wheel to both scuttles and wing corners. Usually, if the bottom scuttle bit is rotten, the top is as well. Like my blue clubby...

It's best to find out now, than when you get to the body shop.

My clubby is on hold. Need to make space in the garage and get him back home. There's a metro van sat in his parking space...

That's good. Not finding rust is always nice!

There's some pictures of the van in my project links at the bottom.

It'll be getting upgarded to a stage 3 1275. Next year it's going on a rally accross europe >_<
