Its a bit grotty in there! For what its worth, I'd keep the loom, lots of nice spare connectors, and lengths of wire in there in case you have to repair anything in the future.

OK little bit of an update, pictures tomorrow.

Managed to get the wiper motor out, the passenger side of the loom is clear, the engine managment loom is out entirely, the brake servo and cylinder is out, the carpet is out, the gear stick selector box thing under the floor... is off, the water expansion braket (after much arguing with it) is off, slave cylinder for the clutch is out, and the front shocks are detached at the top.

Just need to attack 2 steering bolts, 2 tow eyes and 2 tower bolts... then the engine is out - and thats tomorrow for certain. :techsupport:

It's still Sunday you twit.

Well the engine isnt out - battery live cable is being arsey, and the you steering joints are refusing to move... that and 4 of my wheel nuts are completely seized. Interiors well on the way out though, and managed to sort more of the loom out.

Pics:

Yesturday showed a wierd result, someones modded the first 2 relays - anyone give me an insight as to what this would result in?

Todays work didnt result in engine removal ;) The live cable was a complete arrrse so im thinking of chopping it then dealing with the entrails later. Managed to clear more interior and took a loot at the carpet - deffinately need to have a think in regards to heat and damp:
