Thanks Kam! , I'm really pleased so far with it, although the doors arent as smooth as I wanted them, they look a bit rough, but oh well, adds character!

and as for the wheel width, they are just normal deepdish with metro turbo hubs on the front, and drums with a spacer built in on the back!

maaagic!

thanks for all the comments, kam how do u get the pictures so big?! I't not sure how to do that?

set up my suspension today, and fitted one of the front arches, with help from my brother as you can see.......

took a while to get the arch to fit, but i'm pleased with the end result, nearly done the back one too, only 2 and a half to go!

Yes I'm keeping the red black look, i've always wanted a red and black mini.

And yes there is a lot more room than I thought, the carbs will fit in there no bother, tried them out today with my air filters on, and there is plenty room, i'll post some pictures up.

in the meantime heres the arches finished, and the boot on its way haaa

there arent actually any spacers, the back drums have spacers built into them , compared to the early ones that don't, apart from that they are just deepdish wheels i think!

Been thinking about what you were saying about the petrol tank Kam, sooo..............

Fitted the air filter, throttle cable, choke cable, new tank, pump, nearly all the car is wired, apart from the indicator stalk thing, and a few extras that arent on the bike loom, that need running through a fuse box and a switch, like wipers and a fog light.

It's all going well, in the middle of bleeding the brakes at the moment, which is a bit of a pain, it's hard to get the joins right.

I'm hoping to drive it this weekend though, fingers crossed!

Those photos are a few days old, now have a brake servo in there, along with the radiator, screenwash bottle, done lots of little things like plumbed the screenwash in, they seem to be all the little things that take the time!

try and get some more pictures soon, and maybe a video of my 1st start up!
baaaaaaannng

Mate that is coming along so well and looking very lush! :)

Good move on the tank, but didn't you say a while ago you filled over the existing filler hole? Unless your leaving the tank in the boot?

Hell man put another tank in there if you want!!! Or just get one big mutha tank!! :)

Two good things about that is no one will nick your fuel as they wont be able to find it

And when your filling up at a station by opening your bootlid that will net you extra kudos ;)

As promised, my 1st start up, it's actually my second start up, I wont go into the horrific details of the weekend, thankfully It's all fixed, and i can now get on.

unfortunately where i have had the radiator temperature sender welded on had water *peeing* out everywhere, so Thats away back to be fixed, its a waiting game now.....

and yes. I clearly frighten myself when i press the accelerator, baaaannnngggg
