What a coincidence, I went paintballing as well today. Where did you go?

Anyway I get IDed all the time, probably due to looking about 5 years younger than I really am.

near milton keynes.....i hope you weren't the one who kept shooting my bum.....i can barely sit LOL

No I went to a place near Chiswell Green. My mate (It's true, I do have a mate it seems) got shot in the bum a couple of times on the last game. We all went a bit mad on that last game, twas hilarious!

yeah using up all the rest of your bullets! it was good fun, first time i have been. and it doesnt hurt too bad after you are used to the intense stinging pain back of the arm is the worst place to get hit i reckon. yowch!

I got ID'ed a few weeks ago, in a local pub. Im 24 with little beard to prove it! was quite amusing, seeing him trying to work out my DOB..

Can't beat it but I often get ID'd when I'm out in town buying beer.. I'm 21.

I got IDd in a wetherspoons pub for trying to buy a glass of coke...

i was 18 at the time, they still didn't serve me because I didn't have ID...

Rosie gets IDd in the co-op over the road for buying alcohol quite a lot, she's 29... :S

This thread is very apt, as today i got Id-ed buying petrol!!!

I was not aware there was a minimum age for buying petrol but apparently i look younger than it.

I'm quite young looking, but get ID'd ALLLL the time.

2 notably bad experiences:


1- Going into 'Spoons, being ID'd for an orange juice.
2- Petrol station, 7am and I'm the only person on the forecourt - in my old Astra. Full tank, go into pay... "ID please?" ... ummm. You have to be sixteen to buy petrol, seventeen to drive a car ... and I'm 20. What you gonna do if I am 15... syphon it out?!

got id'd in tesco last summer on way to smd! was in tesco getting jack daniels and a few other things. hadnt long since had a bath and shaved and was asked for id. apparently i didnt look 21! i am 24!

LOL funny thread... I got I.D'ed when i was 20ish buying smokes AFTER i had filled up my car with petrol! muppets

So I’m not the only one that gets ID’d when buying petrol, although I always use the same garage in town 90% of the time, would have thought by now they would recognised me.

And I also get ID’d a lot during the day during school term days In town or around the city centre, as apparently I don’t look 22 and should instead be back at school.

You need to be over 18 just to be in Wetherspoons, not just to drink alcohol.

I get ID'd more in supermarkets than pubs. The other week, some old woman cashier said to me "you're 18 aren't you?" and I just said "no"... then followed silence.. until I broke it with "I'm 21 ". She didn't even ask for the ID. What's the point!

Like in the smaller tesco's, I saw one a few months back with signs up saying if you look under 25 you will be asked for ID. WHY? You only have to be 18 to buy alcohol!

I get asked for my ID all the time as people who know me can vouch. Its because I look so young and virile

I got asked last summer, buying a calor gas heater and gas bottle for camping.

The old girl serving me asked if i was over 18, i just stared at her for a sec, then she said " well i thought it was funny"
