This thread is very apt, as today i got Id-ed buying petrol!!!
I was not aware there was a minimum age for buying petrol but apparently i look younger than it.
I'm quite young looking, but get ID'd ALLLL the time.
2 notably bad experiences:
1- Going into 'Spoons, being ID'd for an orange juice.
2- Petrol station, 7am and I'm the only person on the forecourt - in my old Astra. Full tank, go into pay... "ID please?" ... ummm. You have to be sixteen to buy petrol, seventeen to drive a car ... and I'm 20. What you gonna do if I am 15... syphon it out?!

So I’m not the only one that gets ID’d when buying petrol, although I always use the same garage in town 90% of the time, would have thought by now they would recognised me.
And I also get ID’d a lot during the day during school term days In town or around the city centre, as apparently I don’t look 22 and should instead be back at school.
Yaay... i'm not the only one who lives in a town where it seems, idiots run the pumps.

I was also offended when i got id'd for buying a can of spray paint for which you have to be 16, therefore implying i looked 15? .... i'm 20 at the mo
