that looks sick mate! really like the colour and what you done in the bay, looks real tidy.. i had a polo, a mk4 though, regret selling that now as i want another.. currently got an a3 as a runaround but really feeling a polo again.. just for the sake of it heres mine at ed38 last year

This is a very nice car, I am very tempted about getting a polo as my friend at college has one, (he's also on cluppolo, Jakeypolo34 i think, a white coupe) and he has made me fall in love with polos.

Hopefully this time next weekend, i shall be in possession of the new engine, and some new wheels Providing i can go collect um.

Well, that weekend came and went..

And i have my wheels Just a shame im not showing anybody pics of them

1.6 16v block (AVY from a polo 6n2 GTI)


As you will have noticed, theres been some piston/valve contact. All getting sorted in due time. Will get the pistons skimmed when i have the head skimmed (the same amount) so as the C/R doesn't change) and hopefully that will have them looking good

1.4 16v head (AFH from a polo 6n 16v)



Past few weeks I've also been gathering some other bits

Stainless 4 branch manifold


CBR600 can


Also expecting the custom inlet for the bikecarbs some point soon

Skint again now though so not much will be happening for a another month

No more big plans really with this setup, it will be getting another makeover in the distant future. pretty much be starting from scratch, not sure on plans yet apart from it being a big power G40

Nice polo man! Im on club polo too (hansolothepolo) and have been before I sold my polo, bought a mini and joined here
