Engines staying completely standard (I've sold all the bits i had for it now)
Starmags have gone up in price and wont suit the tattyness of the car, so its going on 13x7 wellers which are having colour coded inners and a small strip, the dish will be satin black
Still dropping it by 80 all round but thats about it really, no bike can, no lock-less handles
The inner bit of the bonnet is going satin black, as well as the little strip below the headlights and grill/above bumper. petrol cap is going satin black and possibly the sunroof if i think it will look any good.
Decided to keep mods down and just get it lookin ok for cheap, need as much cash as possible for the clubby and other stuff.
Not sure on what to do with the ICE though, want decent sound but don't know if i want a amp and sub etc cluttering the boot up.
Next thing on my shopping list is deffo suspension and wheels hopefully if I've got enough, but my test is a week or so after i get paid so need cash for more lessons and whatnot.

Thanks but no thanks... I'll ask around a few of my mates for you though. How much you looking? any pics?
Ive got my heart set on the wellers now i think. even sold the P-slots a week back, everything is gone

And as for the starmags, yeah they do look cool (few people on clubpolo with them now) but there just waayy too expensive all of a sudden. maybe later once I'm bored of the wellers lol
Bound to go kerbing them as its my 1st car and ill be driving it straight after my test (if its ready on time) and id cry if it was starmags i was kerbing.. wont be so bad on the wellers (ill still cry though haha)

This is now on the road

Anyway, how it stands now (ish)
Test fitted the roofrack a while back

New grill fitted

Wheels hammerited

Around the locks sorted out, Now blue but need a few more coats then lacquer

Spots wired up

Stereo is all in now and it had a tune last Saturday, runs much smoother.
All I've got left to do now is give the interior a good clean, finish the painting, get the bumpers black again, Get all the stickers in the windows, wire a ciggy lighter up for satnav, stop exhaust from rattling and ermm, drive it

Oh and align all the headlights and spots, there all over the place atm lol.

I reversed into a ditch (dont ask)

got headlight protectors on

Random pic

Slats on the roofrack

Not overly impressed with it, could be better. It'll do though, more usable with smaller stuff now at least.
Ciggy lighter is wired up now so i can get the satnav on the go

Still gotta clean the inside lol, It's filthy.

Loaded the car up with the essentials...

We got creative with elec tape as you can see lol
The 85 mile journey gave the car a beating and a fake supercharger.
Loud whistle/wine when accellerating (mainly in 5th)
After breaking extremely hard due to sum1 in front suddenly stopping (Scariest thing I've had happen in my month of driving, i nearly mated with the car in front and my mate in his beetle nearly mated with my rear) the car grew a VERY LOUD grinding noise that for some reason stopped when i picked speed up lol.
Then it decided not to like 5th gear and kept jumping out randomly several times.
Eventualy it got there, i honestly was amazed lol
The photo taken as we arrived, i just had to have a copy

Our plot (next to some idiotic chavs)

Sat night lead to drunkness and more black tape

Goodbye Fiat

I had enough of speed cameras so came up with a cunning plan

Slight change around with the tape

Mate then drove over a carton of orange juice.... that kinda went all over the polo

Somewhere inbetween that we cramed a few people into the car and went to tesco, thus resulting in many scraping noise comeing from the exhaust and a little less metal.
We then set off.. 60ish miles later i decided to stop for a break... the clutch didnt like that decision and decided to comit suicide. Wich lead to a friendly man in a Renault truck

25 miles later and the urge for a turbo (after hearing the monster in the truck) we were home

My new keyings

Rather long reply in progress

So, After bugjam. hmmm
Sorted the clutch
Collected a new gearbox and some 13" BBS off Purple Tom on here

Played around in the snow

Sorted all the little dents and patches of rust

Temporary fix until full respray

Repaired the dented front panel

Got bored with the bonnet

Put a few little stickers on

got given these beasties too

The ramps are awesome as they aren't too steep so ill it up there once its slammed and they are long so wont fly off the edge

Well, there's the shortened story of the past few months
Its in the garage now finally having the new gearbox fitted
Off to GTI spring festival on Sunday (my Birthday

I'm on the clubpolo stand too

Next on the list of things for it are the custom exhaust I'm getting made up and getting a 70/60 lowering kit on the go
Respray wont be far off either. Still un-decided on the colour
Oh and getting those BBS refurbed and tired up.
Might be picking another set of BBS up too in the next few days

Opinions welcome
