Hello, Did you happen to weigh the old steel Mini roof after removing it? Is that carbon roof you have fitted from`Carbon´Weezel? I would like to know what sort of weight savings there is to be had by fitting a carbon roof panel. Regards Nick

looks like a nice build, I too would be interested to know if anyone has figures for weight saving when using a carbon roof panel, although they just look fantastic anyway.

Look like Wilwoods of some sort, but I'd love to know too, and how did the spacers / mounts for them to adapter to the Sierra attachments on the radius arms...

Tiddy you cheeky sod ha ha i have had some one else's mini in the workshop for more performance parts than mini spares can shake a stick at, when you sending it to the spray shop? its all ready to go when you are!
The shell originally had a whacking big webber box in but then plans changed. The whole was too big so i cut as much of the bulk head out as possible and welded in a flat sheet of steel. filler was applied to perfect the finish.
The rear brakes are exactly the same as those on the front wilwood four pot with only a drilled disc unlike the front which are drilled and grooved. z cars provided a aluminum mounting bracket to allow them to be attached on the sierra mounts
