Reeet soooo I put the SC drops back in today 
Love the noise, but was too much for me over the cold winter mornings! Had the helical gears out in a couple hours, then spent and hour and a half looking for the new oil pump I had bought 
. Don't think it will make a sods worth of difference though. The engine is on its last legs (already LOL!!). 6 thou crank end float, moosed mains, and the idler transfer has eaten itself into the transfer casing . Not really surprised though. If it lasts till the Vaux goes in then do well, otherwise I'll just chuck a 1275 in and see how long that lasts!
Just got to put the exhaust back on and the clutch cover and slave cyl. tomorrow. (and I havn't got to clean the drive because i didn't drop the oil tub
)

SC drops went in today. The beast is back ! Made a little manifold for the vacuum systems but no pictures. Will try to get some tomorrow.
Ooooooh also get about 5 psi more oil pressure at idle when hot, so it sits around 30 now. Get 70 during all other conditions.

Went down the garage at 7 and just got back in. Doing LOADS to get ready for Malvern on Sunday. Got the rear brakes to overhaul, modify the handbrake and fit a foglight tomorrow. Then we're cooking on gas baby!!!

Took a nice little detour into a ditch on the way to work this morning LMAO. Cars fine though just a bit muddy . BIG UP THE FARMERS! Had a few tows from them

Haha I couldn't believe it either Would have been fine getting out, but it was raining pretty hard last night so there was just mud EVERYWHERE.
