Nice to see she's being worked on bud :)
I still haven't even got one to work on :dontgetit: lol.

No luck with the white one then? :(

Yeah I'm glad I'm making a little bit of progress now! gotta decide between a front flip & a 10" wheel conversion.. both probably cost about the same in the end.. I'll save up first and then decide I think, but changing the wheels on a mini will completey change the whole look..

Nah mate, had rusty sills, could poke a key through the hole lol.

I reckon flip front first and then brake and wheel conversion when you get your student loan next year:)

That's a shame, looked a winner from the photos.

Mm I'm still not sure.. she'd look fantastic sat on 10x6 Revolutions wrapped in Yoko A032 tyres.. then Group 2 arches with a chrome strip.. I'll save up the 400-500 odd first and then decide .

But for now, picked up a new set of rear shoes & springs so the rear brakes can have an overhaul, also a brake adjuster spanner/bleed nipple spanner. That job will be done on Sunday morning, hopefully the weather will be good.. even if it isn't I'm sure we can find a way around it.

To be fair, you are right lol. Yeh go with the wheels, will totally change the look of the car. You gunna fit some hi los with it and some lowered dampers or keeping the standard set up?

If I do go for the wheel conversion.. I'd fit the conversion from Mini Sport and then run it on my 12 inchers for a bit until I can afford a second hand set of 10 inch revolutions or something, because I might need a new set of tyres which will be another £200, then save up a little more and fit some hi-los.

Payday soon so I'll see what I've got.. :D

Snowing when I woke up this morning at 7 and then it started raining, so we won't be working on the car this morning  It'll have to wait till next Sunday.

Had to cough up a hefty £94 today for a mobile phone bill.. so that knocked me back a bit with what I'd saved.

It's not raining! So I'll be out with my Dad changing the rear shoes and probably some other jobs we always seem to start doing :P.

Hands are freezing, toes are freezing and my nose is running! but the rear shoes & springs have been replaced & they're working brilliantly!

Uploading pictures now and I need a warm shower, so I'll update this in a bit.

Sticker I got made up from Racing Green on here,

Mini jacked up, wheels & drums off.

Condition of the shoes, offside was much better than the nearside.

Dad battling with the nut on the back, resulted in the below.

Dad aka The Hulk.

All replaced, mini back down to earth and a final check of everything.

Braking is much better now with the rear shoes & springs replaced, pulls hard to the right if you brake sharply at high speeds although we believe this is to do with the discs at the front, next job!

Cooling system emptied & re-filled with Anti-Freeze. Discovered a small hole in the drivers side floor.. of course if I fancied doing a big poke around I could probably put my feet through the floor and run my mini Flintstones style.

Quick video of me going to a mates house, camera certainly needs to be mounted a little higher so you can see the road.

Decided on a Christmas present at the moment.. help?
I'll put money towards it whatever it is, but I've got either.

1) Stage one kit.
2) 12" to 10" disc conversion kit or,
3) Fiberglass 1 piece front.
