Yer its an awesome channel, erm, not much really, James sees him more, is it about the wheels?

Yeah I was gonna ask about that, I'm getting paid next friday so I'd have the money, but no way of getting to him to get them 'cause obviously my mini isn't in 1 piece at the minute! Reckon James could pick them up from James, and then could get them to you? I'd sort a way of getting into Melton and getting them from you 'cause it's easier than getting into Leicester somehow. Not asking you lot to go out your way to get them, but if you've planned on meeting up, just tying it all in, let me know man .

They're just peachy mate but yeah I feel much better this morning, just having some porridge and watching Dave for a bit and then I'll go outside. Feeling much better than I did yesterday, actually feel like I can walk around without going hazy, also got an email from Minispares saying my order has been shipped so that'll come through by this weekend I hope .

So I've been out this morning for a good session, painted the rear seat & the rear floors, also little bits like the seat runners & took the plastic lever off the handbrake (gonna leave off) and painted that. I figured the more I can paint on the floor, the more protection and life I give.





Just come in to have a bit of a rest and drink plenty of fluid so I don't start feeling shaky, then I'm gonna go outside again in a bit and tackle the rusted on bumper on the back & maybe start stripping down the front a bit.

DP: Looking at that last picture it looks like there are bits that aren't painted, just the flash from the camera & the still wet floor can't wait to get to the stage where I can lay the edead & new carpet

Oh boy oh boyy.. talk about opening up a can of worms

Basically after removing the bumper I proceeded to remove the rear valance with my hands, like so..

















Feeling a bit downhearted, I know this isn't an easy fix!

I will be going debumperless on the back, and it's official! I think.. this is how my rear will sort of look (picture it on 10" wheels, mk1 boot with the swinging numberplate, reverse lamp)

Yeah, well what I want is a perfect mix between period retro & modern, considering I'm going for a 1 piece front flip which is of course not original! I want other bits to balance that out, for example the center binnacle conversion, nice & black plain interior, BMC painted green engine block & rocker cover etc..

Yup, cheers for moving it whoever did .

Expecting the Minispares order to arrive today which will give me some nice bits to toy about with for a while, payday is next friday so I can buy the Revolutions from my mate & also start ordering some panels also should have a light switch turning up soon from the bay, I think either my current one is faulty or the relay but seeing as they are prone to wearing out & also the cheapest off the two to replace I brought a new one of those first.. what else.. oh and I've ordered some convoluted split tubing to tidy up the wiring, and I'll also use that under the flip front to house the wiring for the lights & indicators..

How's that for timing, Minispares order arrived can never fault there service!
