Remember that converting to 10s can be an expensive conversion as you will have to change your whole brake setup for smaller ones.
If you are good at persuading people have a word with james and he might sell his four pots to you and buy some big 6 pots to go under his 8x13s, but he may keep the four pots on his as he said they are really good as they are.

Yeah I already knew that mate, that's another reason why not rushing the re-build is a good idea, means I can also buy all the luxuries and not just the bare essentials! Brand new a disc conversion set is about 250 but I'm sure I can pick a decent 2nd hand set up from someone and refurb them if I need too for about 100 quid less.

Finally finished chipping off all the sound-deadening! uncovered some nasty ass rust spots here & there.. but generally pleased with the condition of the floor & rear seat! will look 100% better when given a lick of stonechip, plus over that will go some dynamat so it'll be look mint

Below the rear seat, passenger side also -

All the stone chipping from the rear floors & rear seat, a shade under 1 stone! :o

What to do next..?| I don't want to paint the floor with stonechip yet because of repairs that need doing, just basically waiting around for the garage to be done.. might give the electrics a damn good tidy up & move the existing wires & fuse box from the engine bay to the interior, will be nicely hidden behind the dash liner.

Looks good, thats another reason why I don't want to remove my sound deadening, I might uncover some nasty rust  .

Why don't you cut/pokle out all the rust in the pics then paint round the edges so it doesn't start again and then put some duck tape over the holes to keep the rain out? Gets ya started .

Good man, hopefully get on that tomorrow night then!

Gonna also read up on how to remove the engine & subby, I want to keep the engine connected to the subby & then left the mini over the top & backwards.. possible?

Yep very much so, the pivot point will be on te back wheels so a few people would be easily be able to do it.

Aite that's cool, obviously I'll need to support the subby with some axle stands or blocks of wood, cheers!

I've seen a spare wheel being used before under the front of the subby. Saves the axle stand for the car.

Yeah I'll find something suitable.. that might have to wait until the garages are ready though.. 'cause of course it won't be a rolling shell if the subby isn't there! could start taking all the ancillaries of the engine though and give them a good refurb, know for a fact the servo & brake cylinder are in a massive need of lovin'
