Bloody hell, ain't updated this for a while.

Well, where do I start. Got everything back together after its gearbox explosion last year, got it running only to find the cluch was dragging. Didn't know what was wrong at the time but would later come to surface, anyhow got it sorted and it was back on the road.....for a few months.

Few months later a bolt inside the transfer case decided it didn't want to live in a hole anymore and made a bid for freedom, straight into my MED flywheel <_>. Destroyed the flywheel assembly, knocked the starter motor up (still usable) and made a nice hole in my transfer case, I'm man enough to admit, completely my fault and more than likely why the clutch wasn't dis-engadging. So engine out again, I also had crunching when changing down from 3rd to 2nd, which seeing as the box was freshly built meant only one thing. The syncro mesh on the 2nd gear was mullered, and indeed it was. So did that while it was out, got ANOTHER med flywheel kit, transfer case and cover (which took a while to source a good one) and bolted back together with new transfer case bearings also. Which leads up till today. Everything in, running and........ o.....k. Dont like saying that word as it seems to jinx the thing.

Nice to see this is getting sorted. I'm building a 1310 with a similar spec to yours and I'm looking at what cylinder head is best. What spec is your slark head?
