Got home at 10.45, after stopping in the convoy a couple of times to sort out some niggly problems!

Was a great weekend! Weird weather, but still managed to burn my face!

Drive home yesterday was tough though! I was so, so tired! Kris could really have done with a day off work today to recover, too! :P

Was good to meet some more people and put more faces to names :P

What bargains did people get?

Cooper S 7.5 calipers, from a working car, for £30 a side? :D

Full set of Koni shocks for £15? :D

Mint condition van light for £3?

Mint condition rear glass for the van - £1.50 each! :(

Pick-up canopy and frame for £100 :o

What a great weekend. After a crappy week I was a bit down in the dumps and in two minds whether to go or not, but a call at 9.05 Saturday morning from Kel whilst I was standing in line at the Post Office to get my Minis tax disk convinced me to go. I didn't wander over to the TMF camp as I spent most of the time with the Essex Club and as a fairly new member to the club it was cool to chill out and get to know them better. I'm now really looking forward to MiTP in a couple of weeks.

beans, nooo! my arse was alight as it was this weekend! lol monkey butt!

LOL. It's a nasty thing Monkey Butt, it can lead to even nastier things if left untreated. :P

But don't despair rozza as help is at hand (not my hand tho). I discovered this stuff after suffering a mild case whilst riding my motorbike around the Ardeche region of France. 30c + temperatures, sweaty leathers and a saddle that's more like a torture device made for an uncomfortable few days.

Well peeps we had a blinding weekend shame about the weather yesterday. When we got there on Fri eve it seemed like the camping field was mainly full so we found the first area we got to and set up our tents and gazeebo.

I got totally plastered on Sat night on half a pint of Magners woo hoo cheap night.. lol and i woke up yesterday morning still *Drunk or yellow human water*..

It was nice to meet you Retro10's, i think i saw a few others walking about but wasn't too sure so didn't want to embarase myself by waking upto someone and them not being the person i thought they were.

We had a look out for the TMF camp but didn't see it.

I was the one walking about with my Mrs 2 kids and a pug(small ugly dog not a car.. lol)

There were a few boring stiffs there that just wanted to spoil peoples weekend i nearly ended up having a row with the people behind us as my kids were throwing their frizby about (it's a rubber one that you can throw as hard as yo like into a car etc.. it doesn't leave a mark, i tested it on my car) and it hit the grill of one of their cars and this bird started going mental and another bloke said "go take that thing off of them!!"... it was the first time that happened and it was an accident, they were lucky i was in a good mood..

Then on Sat night about 10ish Matt turned his music on only to get some bloke that had had a barney with his Mrs (from the same group as above) started having a right go because they wern't feeling well and wanted to go to sleep.. he ended up packing up and going home.. (but he did come over to us and appologise before leaving)

After that there were the people over the road having a huge barney till about 3am...

Thanks mate will do. Thought you were an SPI/MPI numpty though? lol Then again that still means you know more than me! If you know where some cheap SPI parts can be sourced that should be a huge help. I think I need to replace the Electronic ignition. Will tell you for sure in a few days.

I didnt expect to see you lot go past! thought you would be taking the motorway

ohhh ok. Yeah will give you a call when I know for sure what the problem is.
Yeah those dam potholes were what caused the damage! I know its strange but it cant just be coincidence that the car died the second i hit the hole. It did flip the fuel pump switch but as you know, wouldnt start again after that.
If theres not the parts I need at your workshop, you can distract tel for me while i nip into his garage!

Weekend was pretty cool but was part of the middle camp between the a-serius and tmf group.

The downer for the weekend was my little breakdown on the motorwa which has now left a big patch of oil on the hard shoulder. the oild pressure thing broke and it was pouring out.

Luckily wasn't too far from home so i got it towed back. Felt very embarrased.

Will upload my few photos in a min.

You guys are joking right???

I thought the show this year was very poor. The new layout of the farm was terrible, we got there nice and early to get some 'space' and no sooner were we set up then retards were camping right on the back of our tents........said retards also insisted on revving the *rubbish* out of their engines all night for no apparant reason. Whats the deal with segregating SMOC from everyone else??? And closing the main field, dumb if you ask me.

Oh and the first post says free camping, if thats the case I want a refund of my camping fee's!! I want a refund anyway, I wont be going back to this show in a hurry. Was more a mini trade stand day than car show. lots of people i went with were all very disappointed, some only stayed for half hour before leaving, now thats value for money NOT!

I agree that the layout was poor and the show itself was rather poor this year, the layout I heard (from a SMOC member) was because Hop Farm messed up this year.

I think most people are saying that had a great weekend due to the company and socialising aspect rather than anything else and as someone who prefers the camping side of things mainly at shows, I think it was a brilliant weekend :P It also wasn't as expensive as many of the other shows which have even less in the way of a show, trade stands and entertainment!!
