after the pickup (being stuck in a wet garage all winter and spring) i finally got her home last month.
thats when i decided to get on with it and get her finished, i sold both my other minis so i could take it down to K W Autos in bromsgrove and have the body work finished off and sprayed.
i got the brakes and hand brake working last week and pushed it down the hill to the garage.
after a talk with the mechanic kev he decided that he would see what he can do and get straight to work.
i went back a couple of days later and he had removed the rear quarter panels i had put on, realined them and put them back on.
he said he might take the front end off and see if he could get it a bit straighter.
again went back 2 days later, the front end had been removed ,realined and put back on perfectly

all this has been done in a week which is amazing as he is just doing it on the night after he has finished

next he is repairing the a-panels and door steps as i put on mk3 instead of mk1

hopefully it will all be sprayed by saturday

but first i have got to choose a colour

ok body work has now been completed and it has all been painted

the colour is a bit brighter than i first wanted but i think it looks good, just got to wait a week before i take it back and have it rubbed down and moped.
so over the next week i have just got to put it all pack together and get it ready for the mot.
