Please oh please god DON'T!Lol well guys this is the last of this min thread im afraid ive been offered a mini with no rust so going to take the chance now gunna sell all the bits off mine its been a great experience and i WILL be doing another project later in the year when i have the proper tools ect
thanks for all of you help guys
This is the second Mini you've removed from existance and we have enough of that from people having crashes and them getting written off or stolen, we don't need Frankie Bateman doing his part to rid the world of Minis.
Please, no more!

Not his fault, someone bodged up his car. After all is just a car.
to be honest the way the work has been done , this was always going to happen.
The car was being jacked up without sills and other panels despite people warning him on here.(Look at pages 7 and 8),
I wouldnt be too critical of the welder, he probably couldnt get the panels to line up because the car wasnt straight.
Dont mean to have a go frankie but if you tackle another project the way you tackled this one you will never
get on the road.

hope this new shell is really "rust free" shame to see so much work go down the pan - not worth trying to rectify the things that have gone out of line ? maybe a little more costly but i suppose its another option thats onpen to you ?
Still hope the next project goes better than those before it mate. good luck with mini no3

shame to hear it's all ended, but make sure you register the new mini as ecky, that's a pretty cool reg plate.
what are you going to do with the old shell?
Sell it let someone fix it

No litterlarry he DIDNT line up the panels he left a gap of like 13mm on a panel, he didnt even spot weld the scuttle instead he did it on top and didnt even get it together right so no offence mate it wasnt becuz i did all that jaking up
Never mind - two steep learning curves and hopefully the third will go ok -
