thought itd be best to do that because then it covers the little scratches n stuff
... I think its time to search around for insurance quotes lol Cheapest yet fully comp, under my dads name on the mini is £1100 not bad
thats nothing declared i know your all going to say well it makes your insurance void and if you crash it wont pay off i know it wont and i know the risks but im willin to take it
because its like £2500 other wise !

Still think you'll need a roll cage in there, although that won't help on the insurance costs...

Why do insurance companies always charge younger drivers higher.... some of us have 850's

Im going to leave the roll cage ive been told i dont need one realyand i know its bo***x
and male drivers get charged more for insurance too
Its always best to declare as much as you can about the car to the insurance company as it helps you as and when you need it.
Yes it can be argued that Younger drivers pay more for their insurance as do Male drivers.
Insurance goes off a few things like your post code, this is for an overview on how safe the area in which you live in , also goes towards calculating the overall risk of insuring you. Theres lots of other things that they take into account.
I know how hard it is to get insurance as a young driver, its only now as im heading towards 19 and having had my license for over a year that my insurance is comming down.
Theres a few companys that will allow you to insure the vehicle in a parents/gaudians name but you have to legally state how often you drive the car. other wise this can also get you.
At the end of the day mate its your choice what you do with regards to insurance. Hope you fins somewhere, try endsleigh or swinton they've always been very helpful. Hope the car gets finished soon.

what i'm thinking of doing is insuring my car with footman James, you can lower the price if you agree on an annual mileage (or so i'm told) which should help... only thing is, i'll have to stick to that mileage
those work wellif you dont do the milage, depends how much the difference is between agreed milage and an annual milage ..
frankie: thats what endsleigh advised me to do with mine when i passed my test - there funny people at the preston brach always make me laugh
