OMG ive still got my spectrum sinclair somehere (actually bet thats worth some money now surely) i had the original so no built in tape drive had a completly seperate one. Also it had..... wait for it........


256k of ram!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Used to load game off the tape and used to get black and white bar codes looking thing moving around the outside of the screen will it loaded and this horrible squeal it produced while loading!

Used to have a Commadore 64, but it's long gone now when we had a carboot years ago. That used to load off tape and god didnt it take ages, only to find out it's either a rubbish game or not the one you wanted to play!

my fav games of old were
transport tycoon...it was brilliant!
rollercoatser tycoon
doom 1 and 2...got the new (2004ish) doom not long ago and i was so diappointed. had no atmosphere or character like the old ones had.
theme hospital
championship manager 2 (96/97 season)
actua soccer 2
GTA and GTA London

cant remember my ps1 games tho other than GT, MGS and ISS soccer.

minimanpie..i love you..monkey island is THE best game bar non.one and two were awesome, got abit silly after that but still fun. Lesuire suit larry is where its at too! hehe

and command and conquer red alert! the first one. that was an amazing game! the amount of time i spent playing that was epic, and playing it online with the old dial-up. mustve spent a fortune!

was never such a fan of red alert 2, too...cartoonish...for me? dont know how to describe it. it was still i really good game and great fun to play but IMO didnt come anywhere near to the original

still, might join you one night online, need to get some of the skills back first tho

Expendable!!! Anyone else remember this one?... I got it free a long time ago when i bought a Voodoo2 chip set.. Nice graphics, stupidly hard levels,... and great sounds... it was a test bed game really to show off what sort of shiny effects and smoke and fire etc the Voodoo2 could do, a bit like serious sam started out...loved Expendable!!

ive got that sitting in my drawer right now !
might have to install it again to be honest, co-op action ftw
