Anyhoo..
Poo has just failed his MOT badly and I've had to decide what to do, I'd like to give him a full resto but funds and time really don't allow that. His heelboard and rear floor are quite bad.
I was also doing a replacement for him, Paddy the 850, heres a pic of them both relaxing on our lawn!!

Paddys a really good car and I don't want to rush him and he needs painting, which I don't want to do in the cold!!
Sooooo....
I've just ordered enough panels to put Poo back on the road(in the cheapest way possible). he's already got oversills and I'm not gonna be starting to remove them.
Eventually I'll replace the entire floor, just not now!!
Heres the list!!
HMP441006 - SUBFRAME MOUNTING REAR PANEL R/H HALF 1 £21.28 £21.28
HMP441007 - SUBFRAME MOUNTING REAR PANEL L/H HALF 1 £21.28 £21.28
MSL28L - DOOR STEP & LOWER PANEL MK3on L/H 1 £25.50 £25.50
MSL28R - DOOR STEP & LOWER PANEL MK3on R/H 1 £25.50 £25.50
14A6611 - FRONT OF REAR WHEEL ARCH CLOSING PANEL RH 1 £8.69 £8.69
14A6612 - FRONT OF REAR WHEEL ARCH CLOSING PANEL LH 1 £8.69 £8.69
MS29R - SILL 8" OVERSILL PANEL RH SALOON MK1/2 1 £9.75 £9.75
MS29L - SILL 8" OVERSILL PANEL LH SALOON MK1/2 1 £9.75 £9.75
MS27L - PANEL SILL INNER PANEL L/H NON GENUINE 1 £6.15 £6.15
MS27R - PANEL SILL INNER PANEL R/H NON GENUINE 1 £6.15 £6.15
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Net goods subtotal: £142.74
I've offset the cost of the panels against the cost of Taxing Paddy!!
My aim is to get him back on the road for Bingley(hmmmm)

New bits(note theres even some heritage parts amongst them as well!!)

I may make a complete heritage heelboard out the 2 half panels I bought, heh heh!!

Check those Heritage heelboard parts before you fit them - one of the ones I got I had to take the bracket that holds the subframe bolts & welds to the inner sill off because it had been spot-welded on the ******* and not in line with the holes in the main panel!
JR
I'd agree with that. I've just fitted my complete heel board & the bottom right hole (viewed from behind the car) doesn't line up. Not far out but enough to stop the bolt.

Same here had to take a burr to the holes to get the bolts in, not really what i would expect from Heritage.

Well nothing has been done and he's still sat in my yard rusting away!!
2012 will be the year of the Poo!!
Had a bit of a cash injection(thanks to a ppi claim!!) so have a few quid to spend on him.
The list..
- Full Heritage floor
-Pair genuine wings
-Pair genuine a-panels
-Pair full length door steps
-Pair door skins(maybe)
-Scuttle(unless I can repair the old one)
I've got a couple of new panels already for him.
Then its a disc conversion for the front, some rear seatbelts, an interior refurb and a full repaint.
This is gonna be an all out bare shell rebuild, no holds barred!!

(mind you I do need to get the clubby done first!!)
