this time i will mostly be running long sprockets - given that shifty'll be down to 50MPH on the uphill bits.

why not meet us at frankley services at 3.00pm. you'd need to leave wad-ville at around 1.45pm to get there for 3.00pm

im on 17 17 atm, 6000 @ 60mph. Should do it, but i will be wanting to cruise at 60 on motorways, no moreeeee!

also, whats you excuse for not tracking your mini at combe!?!?!?

who said I'm not? you sussed the 10mph per 1000rpm then - redline in 6th - mental !!!
5pw engine cruises best at 8000 rpm, so in 5th gear should be about right.

thats so out of date - I've got a digital odometer and a in car adjustable fuelling system with digital readout and rev-counter.

they're just not wired up yet

Thanks shifty but ive just dropped a 1330 in so am only looking for a head now but need the bigger valve size of the MG metro one!

Hmm good point hadnt even thought about that but i didnt make it to MITP in a mini so woulod be really dissapointing not to be in a mini again.

Might have to choose between this one and mini world one as i dont think i will be able to afford both?

alex you wont enjoy my 85mph cruiseing spead then.

over drive 4th is brill however i cant confirm that, thats juwt what ive been told is in the box, never heard of top gear being over drive in a 4 speed box.
