take out the oil and temp guage from the binnacle and put the rev counter in one hole and get a combined oil/temp guage for the other side...

Finially got a battery charger today, so the battery is on charge.

and i also got my grandad stuck in the mini as i got him to sit in it and it was to low for him to get back out of (I didnt leave him there all night honest )

So fingers crossed tomorrow the mini will start lol

Edit- forgot to say from the money i got for christmas i can send off for my provisional, but im going to have to get my eyes tested before that as i thikn i need glasses as i aint got the best vision lol

Right today the battery was charged so i went out put it in, then went over to get some petrol, filled it up but it still wont start.
It just turns over, heres a vid



Any one know the problem?

In my inexpert opinion i'd say it isn't firing

Check spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor arm and contacts and plug order.

Cheers, ill check the spark plugs and distributor cap tomorrow, what do i have to look out for on the distributor cap?

Weres the rotor arm and what does it do? lol same again for contacts

Plug order shouuld be fine as it started before and its behind the gates so no one can fiddle with it.

Rotor arm is under the distributor cap. Helps with the firing order.

Ahh right cheers mate, what should i be checking on it?

Its a pretty simple item.. you just want the metal contact on it to be nice and shiny, also make sure its not cracked or anything like that. It fits directly on top of the distributor, so if you take it off make sure you make note of what spot it was on.
