Does any one know were i can get a new metal pipe bit for the back of a smiths oil pressure gauge?? as mine snapped earlyer

Today i was trying to change the speedo cable, but it didnt work, the only thing i achieved was a black oily arm

do it from underneath like i said stick it on ramps or axle stands. ramps seem safer. a lead light will help you see things

Still aint put the sticker on but i have a excuse lol i have now got a job and i go college so i dont have much free time

But on the plus side thanks to the job i will be getting some moneys so soon i will be having a center speedo conversion loom, and some nice tasty brakes

hmm i need to put money in the bank to get the center speedo conversion loom but it will have to wait untill next saturday as buy the time i get up tomorrow the bank will be shut and then im at work all week and im up before there open and get in after they shut

Luke! You can't spray that yellow! Thats a lovely colour, expecially when you have black wheels and chrome bumbers and other bits!

Good project by the way, i shall be starting another very soon, stripping it to the shell and probably doing an engine conversion to it. Whens the estimated date it will be done?

i wont be getting sprayed up just yet lol, i need to get money first, as for a date for it to be done i can honestly say i have not got a clue all depends on money really and working 2 days a week dont really help that but its better than nothing but there are a few places on the body work that are scabby and it dont look that great up close lol

Sounds good mate make sure you keep us posted on that what engine would you like to use?

does anyone know wheather the wiring on the back of my centre speedo is the correct wiring for the center conversion??


people who have converted from the speedo behind the steering wheel to the center one did this pipe (the one with the silver clip on) stop your putting the speedo pod in properly? if it did what did you do to get it to fit right?


Does this rust look bad? do i have oversills?


and finially how much are these worth? (i also have the sucuring bracket for it)

mine went through a different place. gimme a pic of your engine bay, im sure you can re-route them

take a pic of your sills. doesnt look immensely bad.

i just cut a small section out of my binnacle to clear the pipe, it couldnt be seen as it was right at the back.... or you can re-route it.
