god i am quant insane!
yesterday me and jay drove all the way to wales to get 2 front seats and some door cards.
the guy was really nice and gave me loads of other bits aswell!
then today we drove to derbyshire and got a complete interior set including carpets and gear nob cover from this other guy who was brilliant! bhe said if he gets anoy more bits herl let me know
but it just shows what yourd do to get some bits

lol sadly no its just the original sleeve in gray,lol but i am designing and making some custom daisy interior
when its done ill get some pics up and show you see if your interested

Sorry to cut in, but I was recently reading the fantastic buyers guide in this months Mini Mag and I'm pretty sure the grille on the featured example is wrong?

Shouldn't it have a black 'Mini' grille badge instead of an 'Austin' badge?

I haven't got a pic but it's the Designer that belongs to Michelle Wilson.

But I bought a Mini Mayfair back in 1988 and that had the plain black 'Mini' grille badge and not the blue/green 'Austin' badge.

I could be wrong though and my memory is playing tricks or something?

well i dont know what he badge would have been on your mayfair but thats the badge that should be on the designer if shes kept it original,if not then its whatever she chooses to have

Guys, It's MY Designer, Monty, in the Minimag issue guide. I don't know whether it's Ltd Ed specific for the model, but all the Designers we've met on our travels in their original garb have Austin grille badges too. - Or whether it's just the case that the only grey grilles available now are Austin badged ones...

thanks i got about 7 parcels through the post today including tones of special recipes items and a weekend hamper basket kit one
i now have 4 sets of complete interior its great im going to keep collecting and when i set up the website for our groopy thing il have a section were you can buy and swap quant bits for things you need
