I think you might struggle getting yours to fit as its an MPi (looks like one nehow LOL) thats unless you can reposition your fuse box

Ive rubbed al the filler dwn now and primed them both and have given the first one another rub down/applied filler on the low spots/rubbed that filler down, primed and sprayed it with a couple of coats of satin black paint. Ive decided im not too keen on the finish so ive ordered so crackle/wrinkle effect paint off fleabay to make it look like the dash rails.
pics to follow.

Yeah I know, thats why I never bothered trying to put speakers under the dash rail, plus the non moulded square mdf jobbies look really intrusive on leg space! Thats why my mid bass drivers sit in the door pockets

Both have been primmed with red primer and given two coats of satin black paint. As mentioned above i wasnt that keen on the finish so ordered some wrinkle/crackle effect paint. I was advised to spray both pods with stone chip aswell as this can hide indescrepancies (spelling??) so ive given them both a couple of coats and a light rub down ready for the wrinkle/crackle paint.
Ive been and bought some gutter bolts, penny washers and some black selant to waterproof where ive drilled through the bulkhead so should have them in the car this comin weekend.

I had the idea of getting some blank door cards, fitting them in the car and then making a baffle skeleton in situ. then removing it and using the method above to construct something cool looking maybe you could do somehing similar.
This is where i'm heading, i like the wrap around feel when doorcards blend with the dashboard rather then it all squared off.
Pods look good buddy

I was actually thinking of that for the rear door cards/bins. i think it would be hard to blend the doors into the dash unless you used of of "the STIGs" FG dashes or full moons dashes.
Not quite what i have up my sleeve either

I want to get started myself soon, but i've just got way to much tied up atm, soon though hopefully!
Time will tell...

Ive also been and bought the nuts, bolts, penny washers and rubber mounting washers to isolate the pod from the shell itself.
I had to trim the ring that the grille clips onto as it didnt line up with the holes in the speaker baskets
