It's MOT time for the last time on the clubby estate but i think i'll need to work on it a little first............

Final colour will be tweed grey with a black roof. shouldn't be long now..

Happy new year everyone ( I know it's a bit late)

 

Next little job is to continue with the Bootlid conversion.

 

First up I had to clamp it in place.

Fit isn't great but it's easier than trying to fabricate you own Mk1 skin.

Just had to bash it in to place around the edges to get it somewhere near.

Before offering up the number plate holder to check for alignment.

Once happy I marked round it and chopped it out. I also painted the back of the panel before tacking in place

Just a few pics from today's grind'athon.

 

Started off by grinding down the welds from the other day, also took the paint off.
