Update on it, he has taken it up to his garage to work on, Called up there today, was pleasantly surprised to see it being worked on! the front end was off and various parts including the drive shafts on a work bench with them working on them But that's where the good bits end....... the gear box is dead so a new one is needed, I thought they had it, sadly no they dont. So now I have a wait until he finds one and it arrives. It is also going to have to go back down to the original g...

3 months on and the garage have still not started, and my car is deteriorating day by day.

Got to feel pretty pathetic at being the only idiot sat at home watching TV tonight XD gotta love living in a small village with no transport ;)

:( just realised that watching videos of minis and people driving their minis only make me miss mine more. BUT there is good news. He has promiced me that after 2 months and a week he will start working on it..... how nice of him

sigh, practicaly 2 months on, still the mini is sat in the worlds worst garage, another two nights out turned down for lack of car to get me there :/

Realy Realy p***ed off now, Compleatly fallen out with both mini and more so with the garage. 1 and a half months into a medium size job that should take 4 days I called in to see the g*t sat reading a paper, i ask him "hows my mini going" he replys with "We may start work on it later on in the week"..... so thats 1 and a half months of doing nothing. So ive been scrounging lifts and having hell trying to get about, turning down days and nights out and he has just been wasting...

1 month and one week...... COMMON GARAGE GET A MOVE ON, your genuinely taking the p*ss now

so .... 1 month carless :( how can a professional garage run a seius buisness where it can take this long to do a 2 day job. Also how can they fob off and genral bullsh*t to there customers or leave there cars and there removed engines out in the rain!!

So, the 2 week repair by my local garage of the driveshafts has finally been done, only for the garage to call me and say, actually the final drive is also done for, so another month of waiting and a heap more money :@ Starting to fall out of love with it now, it never seems to be working, im on a very low apprentice wage and these bills are killing me, and i commute 70 miles a day which causes huge probables when i dont have a car cus its in the garage. GRRR I dont know weather to be mad with the mini or the machanic, eather way to replace a drivechaft he has now taken nearly two weeks >:( missing my mini as he is good fun, but also it is making life very dificult as i work 30 miles away and the mini is my only car :S

Hmm..... Bob the MPI has decided to throw another bill at me, new driveshaft. Not a huge bill, but all the same :/

GRRR Went to go out on a run with my mate, got there and then 100 yrds from his house clunks and clunks again every wheel rotation and decided not to have reverse any more. RAC came out and flatbedded it home :/ RAC bloke recons itle be the CV Joint thats gone ping.not a great way to spend Sunday.
