Argh! I want to be out doing 50+ mile rides at the moment but I can't because I've pulled L3, 4, and 5 in my spine, and my left pelvic joint :ermm:

I've been sitting indoors since Sunday! I'm feeling a little better so if my coilovers don't arrive tomorrow I might take my bike apart, grease it all, and paint some of it. If my coilovers do arrive then the bike can wait...!

Okay well as i'm back on this forum I thought it only fair to join in with the longer running threads

I have 3 Bikes 2 of which are road bikes.

I have a Quest Audax Bike with double compact 105 gearset and a Saracen Tour Bike for commuting on with a set of quest como wheels as they are supremely strong for my 'chunky' stature.

Used to be a 50-60 mile rider at about 17mph average but not been on the bike much recently so am still working back up to the big distances. Well when i say big i mean 50- 60 miles big!!

50-60 miles isn't much of an Audax to warrant an Audax bike :)

I jest, sounds like a nice combination of bikes, I want to step up to an Audax, my friend was regaling me with stories of Paris-Brest 2007 over drinks and boy does it sound like hard work but an experience worth living.

oh god i'm fully aware of that trust me!! Quest call it there winter training/audax bike as it has the room for mudguards which mine has got.

to be honest the saracen bike was only £250 and is pretty poor but now i have a set of strong wheels on it I find it does me fine on my very short commute from my london digs to work.

I like it, not sure about the dildo bars though...

I got some NJS Nitto bars so I'm thinking of cutting my old drops into bullhorns. I quite like them.

Looks lovely!

You might want to adjust seat height if you're riding any further than 10 miles though?

I'm always up for a ride in London ;)

So has everyone been out on their bikes recently? It's been a few months since the last post so i expect evryone to be fighting fit by now :P.

Myself on the other, haven't ridden since may :). I've only just took my bike to the shop to get the crank fixed oops :). So hopefully it will be fixed by this weekend and i'll have it for uni on monday next week.

My expensive road bike is bent, and I am having an issue making the manufacturer replace the frame under warranty. I think U have got them though, as I have been keeping a log of everything and everyone I have been dealing with,a s well as dates. Six weeks since I ordered the replacement warranty frame!! Tomorrow is crunch day though.
