I've been sitting indoors since Sunday! I'm feeling a little better so if my coilovers don't arrive tomorrow I might take my bike apart, grease it all, and paint some of it. If my coilovers do arrive then the bike can wait...!

I have 3 Bikes 2 of which are road bikes.
I have a Quest Audax Bike with double compact 105 gearset and a Saracen Tour Bike for commuting on with a set of quest como wheels as they are supremely strong for my 'chunky' stature.
Used to be a 50-60 mile rider at about 17mph average but not been on the bike much recently so am still working back up to the big distances. Well when i say big i mean 50- 60 miles big!!

I jest, sounds like a nice combination of bikes, I want to step up to an Audax, my friend was regaling me with stories of Paris-Brest 2007 over drinks and boy does it sound like hard work but an experience worth living.

50-60 miles isn't much of an Audax to warrant an Audax bike

oh god i'm fully aware of that trust me!! Quest call it there winter training/audax bike as it has the room for mudguards which mine has got.
to be honest the saracen bike was only £250 and is pretty poor but now i have a set of strong wheels on it I find it does me fine on my very short commute from my london digs to work.

Nearly finished building my fixed man, Its a conversion, from a triumph 1983, seems pretty solid! payed 50 quid for the hole bike. how it looks now.
I like it, not sure about the dildo bars though...
I got some NJS Nitto bars so I'm thinking of cutting my old drops into bullhorns. I quite like them.

You might want to adjust seat height if you're riding any further than 10 miles though?
I'm always up for a ride in London
