lol, it was a bit heavy. I was straightening it up because it wasn't quite lifting it in the middle and it was tipping to the left

back in...
That looks good, does the engine go in straight with that on?
Gearbox looks brill now, what was it like to strip?
Gearbox was quite easy, had it all stripped in about 2 hours, but you had already stripped most of it for me lol
No done a lot today, got the last bearing out of the gearbox casing, and pressure washed the case and got all the dirt out of it, looks really good now, then I just started to clean all the internals. I have next week off work, so should get a lot done then

No a lot done today, just started to clean more gearbox bits, and hoping to get the new pistons fitted to the con rods tomorrow
.
Make sure you keep them in the same order, and just do one at a time and put them on the correct way round

They were pretty n*kered on close inspection. The sides of them were scored pretty badly. Anyway, I cleaned up the rods and I had some nice new shiny pistons to go on the rods, and on they went


They look good
