That's a gorgeous looking car! Love the colour, suits it very well.

However, you seem to have fitted your wiper spindles the wrong way :), well, unless you want them to clean your knees :D.

Thanks for the comments guys ! Im likeing that fact about the top 10 minis as it thug :o

so a saturday update (as im in the lakes i cant work on the mini )

Yesturday i did the following ... took the front and rear screens out - decided it would be best if they di not leak so Tower windscreens are coming on tuesday (thanks to Jackman for the advice )

Then i refitted the top and bottom dash rails and got them to line up propperly, i will say that trying to get the switch panel to behave was not easy.

Posted Image

Then i wired in the switch illumination kit (thanks tomsblueminni for over the phone help ) went to test and the batteys flat so thats another job to add to the list..

Then it was wiring the new headlight looms to the origional rover loom.. managed that well enough and also fitted new sidlight bulbs whits i was at it.. then it was onto the indicators there now solidly mounted to the shell via self tappers and have new bulbs and are wired in

Side indicators are in and wired up with new blubs also ...

Posted Image

Temperature warning sensor is now tiewrapped to the support bar on the front panel as i did not fancy drilling another hole in the car :S so it can stay there for now :(

then i got the doors all fitted up with the locking mechanism so they now shut, latch and lock :) so i am rather impressed with myself there

Posted Image
Posted Image

then ive mounted the rear speakers and tweeters.. just need to wired it all up next week when dads made me the new battery box lid for the amp to sit on ;) ...

Posted Image

Posted Image

finally i mounted the dash clock and re connected them so hopefully they will get a bit of use during the week.. you never know i may still make it to himley hall yet haha

Posted Image
Posted Image

and the carpeted boot ..

Posted Image

Posted Image

almost forgot .. the front passengerside alloy has gone to have a tube put in it as it keeps leeking no matter how many times i have the flipping thing resealed :)

so jobs left to do ..

Fit the petrol tank
fit boot seal
fit side windows (doors and quaters)
finish wiring and fit dash
refit sound proofing to bulkhead,
fit wheel arches
check electrics
wire amp
buy and fit bumpers
service
mot

Well the fuel tanks in and she sort of runs however the electrical gremlins have returned.. I still have no full beam headlights hah when you turn ont he sidelights (engine running) the rev counter dies and the right indicator on the dash illuminates so i am wondering if this is meerly a bad earth ? Still need to hurry up and get ti done so i can book the Mot and service for next week >_<
