Right Might as well update this one as im on here !

Got the Bill for the breaks that have been done (had new pads and discs fitted ) I did provide them ;) so some money saved already. The Guy tightened the ball joint on the n/s/f and fitted a new cv boot to the same side too as the other had split so total bill was £65  not to bad i thought either ..

Just need to sort the fuelling out a bit as Thugs having a little bit of a drinking habit at the moment so hopefully get that sorted. Also need to sort the garage so I can put Thug in as the weather is getting a bit worse - still she's starting first times most times so doing well just need to consider changing the thermostat to a winter one or not .. Ill decide on Sunday at Malvern

Crikey it's nearly christmas and I haven't updated this in ages..

well since the breaks have been done she's been a beauty :)

in the last month shes has a new column stalk fitted by me - rather impressed with myself as i finally bought a torquerench haha

she's had the carb rebuilt, and a new fuel sender fitted by the Mini Centre preston so was rather chuffed

Since then she has been a little beauty and ive fallen back in love :) - so roll on bingly

Thug took me and Jack (rimmer1993) to Malvern mini show and managed to get a new innocenti grill (winter use) some new spot (still need fitting) and a few other bits and bats..

since then i have been looking at wheels so i went to my local mini place and got myself a rather good idea ..also a way of keeping the retro theme..

the old alloys are starting to show their age and the falkon tyres are asking for trouble so i'm going to get the origional steels redone in OEW and get some hubcaps .. and yoko tyres but i cant remember the steel tyre size though!

so thats the plans for the new year in the mean time she's having a nap in the garage - although recently she's been my emergancy daily drive to uni as the corsa has had a few issues (4yr old car camshaft failure and ignition modle - lucky replaced in the new year too) so Thug may have a voodoo doll for the corsa haha
but the main thing is she's not feeling left out as I have been sepencing time on the estate which is now being saved up for.

thats all .. please let me know your thoughts on the wheels - thanks Nick

You need special hubcaps for wheels like that. The original steels dont have tabs on them to hold on normal mini hubcaps.

Last time i saw some that would fit, special japanese ones, they had little hooks on them to hold them onto the vents. They where on ebay and went for about £100 for 4.

Sorry to pee on your fire, i was gunna do this at one point but it just became a bit too much hassle.

Unless of course, ive confused myself and somehow you have managed to make them fit.

Hats off if you have.

Well last monday Thug went into JHE to have some tempory arches fitted a few hitches along the way (the old ones have rubbed the bodywork so need blending in) so hopefully she can come home tomorrow - i've missed her !! and really need to use her for placement as she's more fun on the commute to school (plus i can show her off to the other mini owner at school).

So hopefully i'll be able to reveal the newish look to her tomorrow (or later in the week)

And then its the list ready for the MOT in May (week after L2B) so need to ensure that Maddamme is in rude health.

Jobs for Easter Hol's:

- Underseal
- Waxoyl
- Stoneship rear valance (underside)
- Fit mud Flaps
- order and fit new carpet.

Simples ... watch this space.
